N2 - The work carried out seek to determine how simulatio n modeling preventive maintenance management influences productivity in a carton board company. The research is applied, no n experimental, design and quantitative approach, the sample considered the production ofegg trays during 26 days. The techniq ue was the documentary analysis and the instruments the register of the preventive maintenance and productivity data recorded. The used o f the Crystal Ball software for simulation in preventive maintenance calculations allow us to see that, if it is applied, productivity ca n increase to 61.84%, as well as efficiency and effectiveness at 73.85% and 83.53% respectively. In conclusion, it has been demonstrated tha t preventive maintenance management will improve productivity in the organizations.
