Resumen
Smart buildings possess systems and facilities that allow management and automated control, they use diverse technologies, such as inmotics and the Internet of Things. The objective of this research is to propose an automation system for laboratories in a Public University of Peru, inmotics is utilized to optimize resources in order to reduce costs, save energy and offer security, while using digital sensors, electronic controllers, devices and communication systems, creating the lucidity required for digitalization. The expected result is to develop the design of a smart building which allows improving the quality, comfort, wellbeing and safety of the environments used by teachers and students, as well as the efficient management of technological and electronic resources. The services proposed will be integrated into the institution’s technology infrastructure, together with IBM Watson’s cloud computing services and its Artificial Intelligence platform.
